Questions

Simply tap the camera button on the home screen, take a photo of your ingredients, and our AI will analyze them and generate a personalized recipe for you. You can also manually enter ingredients if you prefer.

You can generate recipes without an account, but creating a free account allows you to save recipes, sync across devices, and access premium features.

Meal42 supports 12 languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Malayalam, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Urdu, Telugu, and Odia. You can change the language in Settings.

Cooking Mode displays step-by-step instructions in large, easy-to-read text optimized for use while cooking. It includes text-to-speech to read instructions aloud, and features a built-in timer for precise cooking.

After generating or viewing a recipe, tap the bookmark icon to save it. You can organize saved recipes into custom collections from the Saved tab.

Yes! Tap the share button on any recipe to share it via messaging apps, social media, or generate a link. Recipients can view the recipe on our website or in the app.

Go to Settings > Dietary Preferences to set your dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.). The AI will automatically consider these when generating recipes.

Premium includes high-volume recipe generations, ad-free experience, priority AI processing, exclusive recipes, and early access to new features.

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Go to your store's subscription settings to cancel. Your premium benefits continue until the end of the billing period.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google depending on your platform. Contact their support directly for refund requests. We recommend trying the free tier first before subscribing.

Go to Settings > Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data including saved recipes. This action cannot be undone.

Go to Settings > Account to update your email or password. If you signed in with Google or Apple, your credentials are managed by those services.

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Make sure you have remaining recipe credits (free tier: 10 lifetime)
  3. Try closing and reopening the app
  4. Update to the latest version from the app store
  5. If the issue persists, contact support with your device info
  1. Ensure camera permissions are granted in your device settings
  2. Check that the image is clear and well-lit
  3. Try using a smaller image size
  4. Make sure you have a stable internet connection
  5. Restart the app and try again
  1. Verify your email and password are correct
  2. Try resetting your password using "Forgot Password"
  3. If using social login, ensure you're using the same account
  4. Clear app cache and try again
  5. Contact support if you're still unable to access your account
  1. Wait a few minutes and restart the app
  2. Go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases"
  3. Ensure you're signed into the correct App Store/Play Store account
  4. Check your subscription status in your store's settings
  5. Contact support with your purchase receipt if the issue persists
